Held over 4 days in December, the Model United Nations Preparatory Conference (PREPMUN) is focused on students who have little to no prior MUN experience, but is open to all.
Participants will be guided through MUN simulations, listen to guest speakers from civil society, and ultimately gain more knowledge about the UN and Singapore.

Founded in 2011, the Model United Nations Preparatory Conference (PREPMUN) is one of the biggest simulation conferences in Singapore.
Having started off as a 100-delegate conference, it has grown by leaps and bounds both in terms of our size and mission fulfilment. In our 2018 conference, over 900 individuals of various schools nationwide participated in our four-day conference, including student-delegates, administrative team, academic team, and the Secretariat.
Through the years, we have collectively reached out to over 2,500 individuals from over 90 schools through our conference and training programmes. PREPMUN has grown to become one of Singapore’s most prestigious and well-attended conferences.

PREPMUN is also a resource platform for Model UN, ASEAN, and other simulation programmes in Singapore, powered by the National Youth Council.
To broaden access to and participation of Model UN, ASEAN, and simulation programmes in Singapore, and to inject greater rigour in these experiences.
To introduce Model UN, ASEAN, and simulation programmes to every school in Singapore, and through the comprehension of international issues allow more students to consequently gain an appreciation for their implications on Singapore.
